STRĪ AYU, founded in 2025 by Dr. Anusha Kavish, BAMS, MS (Ayu), provides compassionate, holistic, and individualized care for women across different stages of life.
With over 8 years of experience in Ayurveda and postgraduate specialization in Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga (Ayurvedic Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Udupi, she brings specialized expertise to women's healthcare.
Her clinical experience includes the management of menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual bleeding, infertility, endometriosis, fibroid and reproductive health concerns, along with Ayurvedic care during preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
With more than 6 years of experience in Pregnancy (Garbhini Paricharya) and postnatal care (Sutika Paricharya), Dr. Anusha offers Ayurvedic support for women following both normal and high-risk pregnancies, focusing on recovery, nourishment, and overall wellbeing. She has also conducted Garbhādhāna Samskara (preconceptional care) programmes for couples seeking to prepare for a healthy pregnancy.
Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Anusha is a contributing author to "Maharshi Sushruta Compendium" launched at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, adding to her academic contributions in the field of Ayurveda and its surgical heritage. She is actively involved in research projects supported by the Govt. of India and Ministry of Ayush in association with VGST, RGUHS, and CCRAS, including studies on PCOS, PID and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Co-Principal Investigator in a CCRAS research project, Dr. Anusha combines classical Ayurvedic principles with evidence-based clinical approaches to promote women's health and wellbeing.
